Membership terms

Version 1.1 · 1 November 2026 · Founding prices and the opening date are confirmed to the founding list before any payment is taken. These terms are written to meet the United Kingdom's subscription contracts regime under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, in force from January 2027, and UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.

1. Before you join

Before you confirm any membership you will be shown, on one screen: the circle you are joining and what it includes; the price per billing period in GBP or AED including tax; how often it renews and the date of the first renewal; that it continues until you cancel; how to cancel, in one sentence; and your cooling-off right. You confirm by a single clearly labelled button. Nothing is pre-ticked.

2. The circles

Membre (open to all): early access to collections and releases; complimentary delivery on orders to the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates; a seasonal Rituals box, four a year; a birthday gift for your companion; member-only Journal pieces.

Privé (open, limited places): everything in Membre; a named personal stylist reachable on WhatsApp during concierge hours; priority atelier slots for bespoke work; one complimentary fitting a year in London or Dubai; invitations to private preview events.

Cercle Royal (by invitation): everything in Privé; a dedicated concierge; first access to numbered editions; private events in London and Dubai; a bespoke gifting service. Annual only.

Where a privilege depends on availability (an event, a fitting slot), we say so and offer an alternative date. Privileges are personal to you and your companion and cannot be sold.

3. Price and renewal

The price you join at is the price you pay for as long as you remain a member at that circle, unless we give you at least 60 days' written notice of a change, in which case you may cancel before it takes effect. Monthly memberships renew each month on the date you joined; annual memberships renew each year. Payment is taken by a PCI DSS certified processor. Founding members keep the founding price for as long as they stay.

4. Reminders

Before every renewal we send you a reminder by email stating the renewal date, the amount that will be taken, and how to cancel. For annual memberships the reminder arrives at least 14 days before renewal; for monthly memberships, at least 3 days before. No renewal is silent.

5. Cooling-off

You may cancel within 14 days of joining or of any renewal for a full refund of that payment, less a proportionate amount for any privilege already supplied at your request (for example a box already dispatched). Tell the concierge or use your account; no reason is needed.

6. Pause, change, cancel

In your account, at any time and without speaking to anyone, you may: upgrade or downgrade your circle (taking effect at the next renewal, or immediately with a pro-rata charge if you prefer); pause a monthly membership for up to three months; change your seasonal box date; update your companion's profile; and cancel.

Cancelling takes no more steps than joining did: one page, one clearly labelled button, one confirmation by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and you keep your privileges until then. We may make one polite offer to stay; we will not make a second, and we will never require a call, a form or a reason. You may also cancel by writing to the concierge.

7. Refunds

Outside the cooling-off period, payments already made are not refunded when you cancel, because you keep your privileges to the end of the paid period. If we fail to provide a privilege that is part of your circle and cannot offer a reasonable alternative, we refund a fair proportion of that period's fee. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days.

8. Gift memberships

A gift membership of Membre or Privé is bought by one person (the giver) for another (the recipient) for a fixed term of six or twelve months, paid once in full. Cercle Royal cannot be gifted.

No renewal without the recipient's choice. A gift membership ends at the end of its term. Before it ends the recipient is told the date, shown the price and these terms, and asked whether they wish to continue. Nothing is charged to anyone unless the recipient actively chooses to continue and provides their own payment details, at which point section 1 applies to them as a new member. No payment details of the giver are retained for this purpose.

Activation. The membership begins when the recipient activates it, or on the date the giver names if later; a gift bought before Le Cercle opens begins on the opening date. The recipient creates their own account and companion profile, and the giver has no access to it.

The giver's right to cancel. The giver may cancel within 14 days of paying for a full refund, provided the membership has not been activated. After activation the recipient's cooling-off right in section 5 applies to the recipient, and any refund is made to the giver's original payment method.

Privileges are personal to the recipient and their companion, as section 2 provides. If the recipient does not activate a gift membership within twelve months of purchase, the giver may ask for it to be converted to a gift card of equal value under the gift card terms.

9. Our side and yours

We will treat your data as the privacy notice describes, answer within one working day, and honour every privilege or offer an alternative. We ask that privileges are used for you and your companion, and that staff and stylists are treated with courtesy. We may end a membership for serious misconduct, refunding any unused period.

10. Changes

We may change these terms or the privileges of a circle with at least 60 days' written notice. If a change is to your disadvantage you may cancel before it takes effect and receive a pro-rata refund of any period paid beyond that date.
